AISEL
She describes herself as a passionate language teacher who brings the warmth of Kazakh hospitality to the world! Born and raised in the vast steppes of Kazakhstan, she grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of her homeland—from sipping a warm bowl of shubat under the Almaty sky to exploring the poetic beauty of Abai's verses.
With experience in teaching Kazakh to diplomats and foreigners as well as English and Russian to Kazakhs she has a deep understanding of languages, trying to make learning feel like a friendly chat over a cup of Kazakh tea.
When she’s not teaching, you might find her wandering through the bustling streets of Astana, enjoying a fresh baursak at a local market with her friends.

NURBOLAT
His colleagues say he is not just a language teacher—he’s a storyteller and the kind of person who always has a funny old Kazakh proverb for every situation. Born in the heart of Kazakhstan, he grew up witnessing the great economic and social changes that happened after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the emergence of the modern Kazakh state.
With a long experience in language teaching and a deep love for his homeland, Nurbolat says his goal is to bring the Kazakh language to back to the mainstream where for a lot time it was overshadowed by Russian, thanks to real-world expressions, cultural insights, and just the right touch of humour.
He loves to dance and is widely considered, despite him stating otherwise, to be the center of every office party!

DANA
Based in Astana, she enjoys the rhythm of the city, from quiet afternoons in local cafés to long conversations with friends about books, culture, and the latest Netflix shows. Her degree in literature reflects her love for language, but also her appreciation for stories that shape identity, especially those connected to Kazakh culture.
Teaching, for Dana, is a way to open that world to others. She enjoys helping students not just learn a language, but understand the context behind it, the habits, humor, and everyday life in Kazakhstan. She says she hopes you will appreciate the Culture section that she curates.
In her free time, she loves to ride horses, given that her family has a long tradition in breeding some of the finest of the region.

RUSLAN
Ruslan works in marketing, but for him it’s never just about promotion. He thinks a lot about how Kazakhstan is seen from the outside and how it should feel from the inside. Day to day, he makes sure everything stays consistent, from visuals to tone, across different languages and audiences, so that the image of the country doesn’t lose its character.
He says that life is firmly rooted here. He has two kids, and most of his time revolves around family, school routines, and weekends spent together. When there’s a break, he prefers to leave the city behind. With friends or relatives, he drives out into the steppe, bringing tea, simple food, and staying for a few days. There’s something familiar in those open spaces, the wind, the distance, the quiet. It’s where he feels most at ease, and where his connection to his homeland feels strongest.

DINARA
Dinara was born in Almaty, and her memories are closely tied to a time when many relatives, family friends, neighbors, one by one went abroad, looking for better opportunities. She stayed, and over time that decision quietly shaped the path she took.
She helps those that left reconnect with their Kazakh heritage through the language. For her, having studied languages and built her life around them (eventually mastering five), language is not just communication, but a way to connect with a culture on a deeper level.
In her spare time she prefers places that are not on the usual tourist routes, since she frequently travels across the main cities in Kazakhstan for press work. She also likes to visit neighbouring Central Asian countries, as she says it gives her a sense of familiarity and noverlty when comparing close cultures.

TIMUR
Ruslan works closely creating Kazakh language materials, carefully proofreading texts and making sure everything sounds natural and clear. For him, it’s not just about correctness, but about preserving the feeling of the language.
He genuinely enjoys discussing about Kazakhstan with others, whether it’s the meaning behind political choices words or the everyday culture people don’t know about if they live abroad. He often says that what makes the country special is how welcoming it is, how easily someone can sit at the same table and feel include
Ruslan keeps things simple when it comes to his hobbies. He meets friends to watch matches, and rarely misses a game of Arsenal. At the same time, he says he supports the Kazakhstan national team with the same loyalty, no matter the result!
